Time to predict motherbitches. Anyone who predicts everything correct can make a 290pt character. Anyone who predicts the main card correctly can make a 260pt character or add 5pts to their current character build. If that doesn't happen, whoever predicts the most gets to add 2pts to their character build or make a 255pter from scratch.

I love Wand. I just wish this was 5 years ago when i wouldn't have it in my head that he could lose. I don't really rate Franklin, in fact I resent his rise to fame on looks and professionalism rather than talent. I don't see Franklin having the power or submissions to stop Wandy, so it's up to Wandy to stop him which I think he will. Otherwise he loses via decision.

Cheick Kongo Vs. Cain Velasquez
I don't get all the recent Kongo love. The guy beat Mirko and then ran through a bunch of talentless Heavyweights. He keeps kneeing people in the nuts as well. I hope Valasquez wins, and I think he does via decision.

Mike Swick Vs. Ben Saunders
I think Saunders is too big and powerful for Swick. I don't know if Saunders is actually any good really, but Swick has been underwhelming recently. Saunders by TKO

Marcus Davis Vs. Dan Hardy
I really dislike Davis for pretending to be Irish. Good test for Hardy and, if I wasn't a Brit I'd pick him to lose. That said, this could be a good marker for 'The Outlaw' and I hope he wins by KO.

Spencer Fisher Vs. Caol Uno
I liked Uno years ago. Since then he's tailed off. An exciting fight hopefully, but Fisher wins by TKO

Mirko Cro Cop Vs. Mostapha Al Turk
Al Turk is useless. Even Kongo beat him. Mirko seems to be saying the right things, so I expect someone to be catching Mostapha's head in row 4. Only danger is if Turk bullrushes and grounds Mirko - then elbows him to death.

I don't think Wandy has it any more than Chuck Liddell still does. I feel I'll just get burnt if I make a nostalgia pick. I could see another Nate Quarry like KO win for Franklin if Silva isn't careful..

By decision. Hopefully that piece of shit finally gets called out for all the nutshots he's been doing.

Ben Saunders is an idiot. He badmouths Swick for not having any noteworthy wins, but he's only fought cans himself. I think Swick exposes him.

Marcus Davis Vs. Dan Hardy
I want Hardy to win because he called out Davis on being a poser and this funny photoshop thread that has Davis freaking out. .. but I'm going with the safe pick here.

Spencer Fisher Vs. Caol Uno
Fisher is a good fighter thats flying under the radar in the lightweight division these days. Sadly, Uno is past his prime already.

I think Cro Cop's being fed a very winnable fight.

I can only picture how Velasquez dismantled Stojnic pretty good. It prolly won't be as bad against Struve.

Man...the line has moved so much in the Kongo/Valesquez fight. When I first checked Kongo was the favorite, and now Valesquez is around -150. That's a pretty dramatic shift in just a few days.

I might throw some money on Saunders, Hardy, Uno and Wandy.

Uno, Hardy and Saunders would double your money...

heck, even Al Turk might be worth a shot, he's a takedown g'n'p guy. Sure, it's likely he'll get decapitated, but Mirko now isn't the same fighter he once was, and on his back in the Octagon - well...

Tim Sylvia got humbled by Ray Mercer earlier though, so I'm all smiles.

Marcus Davis looked awful. Cain Valesquez, IMO, needs a win or two more before he's in title contention after that performance.

Cro Cop is a shady motherfucker. Turning down fights with quality opponents, saying "I don't think the eye poke effected the outcome" and then going backstage and immediately letting the UFC know he'd signed a deal with DREAM, despite making a huge deal about wanting to "hunt down the belt." I guess he just got to that point in his career that he's realized he can't deal with State Athletic Commissions and Drug Testing, they effect his W/L ratio.

My namesake [Saunders] looked out of his depth as well. Still don't think Swick is anywhere near elite though.

Swick, to me, is a lower-level gatekeeper... he's there to fight new arrivals and guys like Saunders who make claims that they "feel so good, they want Anderson Silva" and bring him back to reality.

Beat Swick, you move onto lower level comp and eventually get to fight a MID-level gatekeeper.

Swick will always be on my shitlist if for no other reason than he thinks the word "Swick-otine" is clever. He's a douche.

I was happy to see Marcus Davis lose, and his being a sore loser afterwards only made him look more like an idiot to me.

Swick's elite status is questionable until he steps up his level of competition. I don't believe he's undeserving of any credit beyond that. He's undefeated in the division, and knows how to finish fights. I expect them to throw him in there with another guy on the verge of breaking through like Martin Kampmann or a guy with name value like Karo or Matt Hughes to prove whether or not he's a contender.
